ITHACA, an Outremer 45 in a three-cabin owner's version, is offered for sale by the official brokers of the Outremer yard.
Outremer is a construction site like no other. Born from the vision of Gérard Danson, it was built on a simple idea, to make catamarans by sailors, for sailors, cut to go far rather than to stay at the pontoon. Since joining the Grand Large Yachting Group in 2007, this philosophy has not changed, it has simply been refined, with a DNA always focused on safety, simplicity, lightness and performance at sea, from coastal sailing to family circumnavigation.
45 occupies a special place in this story. It is the model that has best summarized this philosophy on a format accessible to a couple or a small family, without ever giving up the great cruise spirit of the brand. Designed by Barreau and Neuman, it has matured over the years of production to become one of the most in-demand catamarans on the site, fast in the short term, reassuring in the breeze, and balanced enough to be driven with a reduced crew over long distances. ITHACA, case N.102, is a beautiful illustration of this, it carries in its serial number the story of a model that has proven itself hundreds of times before it.
ITHACA was specified without compromise by its owners. It has about 600 engine hours after a descent into the Mediterranean and a first full sailing season, which is very little for a boat that has actually sailed. Its rig combines a mainsail and a self-steering solent in Hydranet Incidence, an Incidence gennaker on retractable toe and a North Sails Code 55 for the short term, all driven from carbon free bars that restore the direct sensation of water on the rudders. On the energy side, it has 1750 W of solar panels installed in 2025 and two 6000 W lithium batteries, combined with a Dessalator 100L/h watermaker which gives it a real autonomy away from marinas. It also has a high-performance Starlink already installed, a Plastimo 8-seater life raft from 2025, a rigid carbon bimini and carbon partitions, as well as a 3D Tender 320 annex with Suzuki 20hp engine.
Becoming the owner of an Outremer also means joining a community of nearly 450 catamarans sailing all over the world. The yard accompanies each owner beyond delivery, with the Outremer Academy and its training at Outremer Week, personalized follow-up via MyOutremer, a recognized after-sales service and concierge services to facilitate maintenance and logistics between two sailings. ITHACA is visible in Marseille, proposed HT, and ready to write the rest of its history within this community.
