Probably the most famous of the range, the Outremer 51 has proven itself and crossed all the seas of the globe with disconcerting ease. With an increased cargo capacity compared to the 45, this flagship family sailing boat from the Outremer range, twice voted "European Yacht of the Year" and "Boat of the Year" is the unmissable reference in cruise catamarans
Here in proprietary version that is to say 3 cabins, it is a real powerful and manageable round the world cat, endowed with unparalleled robustness, it has proven itself on all seas and in all circumstances
A first-hand boat, it was delivered to its first and current owner in April 2019. The first four years were devoted to Mediterranean cruises, the maintenance having been entirely provided by our Outremer yard during this period.
In 2024, it sailed from Europe to the Caribbean Sea via the Panama Canal, before reaching French Polynesia via the Pacific Islands, finally anchoring in New Zealand, completing a smooth 25,000-mile journey.
During this period, the boat was carefully maneuvered and meticulously maintained, with bespoke improvements in areas specifically intended for cruising and life on board.
Under site warranty, managed by our workshops in La Grande Motte, the aluminum mast was changed (anodization problem), ahead of time the stays as well as the martingales were refurbished in 2025.
The Hydranet Incidence sailing set, which includes a self-steering jib, mainsail, code D, Code O and Gennaker is complete for deep sea crossings.
Since arriving in New Zealand, the boat has been taken out of the water for regular maintenance and is ready for its next adventure.
