Offered directly by the Outremer Brokerage team, CYAN benefits from the expertise and support of the site that designed and built it. Acquiring an Outremer through us is more than the purchase of a boat: it means enjoying continuity, real technical know-how and long-term support, with access to our after-sales services and our refit solutions, in particular via our gls base in Marin, Martinique, where our teams regularly support owners with the maintenance, improvements and preparation of their grand cruise projects.
Elected European boat of the year by the press in 2013, the 5X has become over the years a reference to the Overseas yard. Cyan, superb Outremer 5X, one of the last examples of this, delivered at the end of July 2022 was designed for long trips in complete autonomy. Now available in Martinique, after a magnificent transoceanic journey. A unique opportunity to set sail now, without compromise.
Icon of the construction site, the 5X is the flagship of the Outremer range: 61 feet of controlled power, signed VPLP, with a hull cut to swallow the miles and a high-end finish, designed to live comfortably at sea, at anchor and in navigation. This model is a 4 cabin / 2 bathroom version, ideal for welcoming family, friends or teammates in a warm and bright setting, with tailor-made finishes and a contemporary interior style. It has all the attributes of a great trip: robustness, autonomy, redundancy of systems, and state-of-the-art equipment.
Launched in La Grande Motte, Cyan began a major journey: crossing the Atlantic, exploring the Caribbean, crossing to the Pacific, Polynesia... before returning in 2025 to the West Indies, where he awaits his new owners. Throughout this course, it has been rigorously maintained and upgraded to meet the highest standards of safety, comfort and efficiency. He knew only one owner, very experienced, coming from the world of boating, and was always followed professionally.
On the equipment side, this 5X is a summary of technology and comfort. Lightweight construction with carbon mast, Kevlar stays, carbon partitions, high-density Gunboat foam, for exceptional marine behaviour. The sail plan is up to par: mainsail with solent, Code 0, gennaker and asymmetrical spinnaker (front sails on reels), with fittings for symmetrical spinnaker. Three electric winches facilitate maneuvers from the 4 bar stations (2 wheel bars + 2 blunt bars, all made of carbon), protected under a carbon bimini. The cockpit accommodates a large L-shaped bench seat with table, BBQ, fridge-freezer, and all amenities for a comfortable outdoor life.
The interior is equally neat: equipped kitchen (gas/induction), oven, large refrigerator, double sink, plenty of storage, Corian worktop. On the comfort side, nothing is missing: air conditioning, Webasto heating, Fischer Panda 8000i generator, Duo 100L/h desalinator, washing machine/dryer, diving compressor, TV, LED lighting and many fans.
On-board electronics are the latest generation: dual-screen B&G Zeus 3S 12", H5000, AIS, VHF B&G, radar, mast cameras, ForwardScan front sonar, Seatronic computer system with TimeZero, 32" screen, Iridium GO, Starlink, CZone for centralized control, dual autopilot (H5000 + Raymarine/Simrad). All critical elements are doubled for maximum reliability.
The energy autonomy is exceptional: solar panels (800W on davits + 820W on bimini), Mastervolt lithium batteries (2x6000W – new 2024), 5000W converter, 24V 110A alternators, Mastervolt charger, generator set. In the appendix, a Highfield 360 hypalon with Mercury 20cv EFI engine.
This 5X is also perfectly equipped for safety: 8-seater raft, EPIRB and GPS beacons, safety anchor, spare parts kit, emergency rigging, spare equipment and many consumables.
Visible in Martinique from May 2025 – sold inclusive of all taxes, this 5X is aimed at demanding sailors looking for an exceptional offshore multihull, ready to set off again for a circumnavigation of the world or any other ambitious project.
