The Outremer shipyard has been built for more than 40 years in La Grande Motte catamarans designed for the great voyage. Thanks to its collaborations, in particular with VPLP Design, the brand has been able to evolve without ever denying its DNA: more comfort, more contemporary lines, more modern fittings, while maintaining the lightness and marine sense that have made its reputation. Today, this maturity makes Outremer one of the essential references for those who are considering a real long-term start. Designed by VPLP, the 52 benefits directly from the experience accumulated on the 55. It takes up the spirit while finding a particularly successful balance between size, storage, volume and comfort, a compromise that makes it one of the most accomplished models in the range for those who want to sail far without giving up living space.

CHIEN FOU en est une illustration exemplaire. C'est une version propriétaire, avec trois cabines dont une en configuration MyFreeSpace (MFS), pensée pour un couple ou une famille en grand voyage. Son propriétaire, un marin expérimenté ayant déjà possédé plusieurs bateaux, a construit sa spécification avec un souci du détail rarement égalé, dans le seul objectif de rendre la vie à bord et la navigation les plus agréables possible. Le résultat est un bateau mûri, cohérent, prêt à partir.

Sur le plan de voilure, le génois bénéficie d'un montage 3D (identique au 5X), une option qui améliore sensiblement la manœuvrabilité et le réglage fin de la voile. Le bateau embarque également une véritable trinquette Incidence, et non une simple préparation, pour un jeu de voiles complet et polyvalent. Les cloisons carbone, offrent déjà une excellente base structurelle, complétée ici par un mât carbone fixe et un gréement dormant en Kevlar, une option rare sur un 52. Sur le pont, les winchs Performa équipent le bateau : des modèles peu courants, nettement plus puissants que les winchs habituellement montés en série, un choix qui change concrètement le confort de manœuvre au quotidien.

À l'intérieur, chaque équipement a été sélectionné avec la même exigence : dessalinisateur Aquabase, lave vaisselle grand format, lave linge sèche linge combiné, four combi Miele, groupe électrogène Fischer Panda, 2140 W de capacité solaire, chauffage diesel, compresseur de plongée et connexion Starlink. Rien n'a été choisi par défaut.
